Rose Tree Park in Media has a small Christmas light display...
My tripod and I took a short walk through yesterday evening.
Any suggestions for improving this shot? I found composition to be pretty difficult for this, mostly because of all of the other lights that were around...

maybe you may want to zoom in on the details when there's too much other distracting lights around
you could also do a angle up shot from lower down the Christmas tree and use the darken sjy as the back ground to avoid the other lights being in side the frame
just some suggestions :)

I find only the lights between the candy cane and the Christmas tree distracting. You might be able to clone those out. ......... Great capture for the season anyway!

hey June! Great shot - you might try close ups if you don't want distractions to the image.. or focus on one light and let the rest fall off in a blur...
also, bump up the ISO to 800 or more which will allow you to get a faster shutter - you might even be able to hand hold it then! tripods are great, but I like to 'get up in!' with my lens
